The moose antler pictured is the actual moose antler you will receive. The moose antler is from the wild and has not been modified in anyway. The antler is from a moose who has naturally “shed” their antlers so the moose who once wore this antler is still out there living their best life.
Whole moose antlers can be used for crafts, decor, dog chews, etc. The antler has its’ natural coloring and has not been sanded, cut, stained, etc. The antler is in the exact same condition as when it was found in the wild.
If using the antler as a dog chew, the “fanned out” portion of the antler known as the palm is generally the softest portion of the antler and gradually gets thicker and harder the closer it gets to the base of the antler.
All antlers come from the wild so there may be imperfections with each antler piece. Some pieces may be discolored, have bite marks from other small critters, etc.
